The New Year That Never Came was nominated in almost all cathegories at the UCIN Awards Gala (Romanian Filmmakers Union) and won the following:
- Best Film – ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’ în regia lui Bogdan Mureșanu;
- Best Screenplay – Bogdan Mureșanu pentru filmul ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’;
- Best Main Actress – Emilia Dobrin pentru rolul Margareta Dincă din filmul ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’;
- Best Editing – Mircea Lăcătuș și Vanja Kovaèeviæ pentru filmul ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’;
- Best Sound – Sebastian Zsemlye pentru filmul ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’;
- Best Makeup – Iulia Roșeanu pentru filmul ‘Anul nou care n-a fost’;
- Critics Award – Bogdan Mureșanu
